What are the different types of skip bins for hire?
General waste skip bins:
Our general waste skips can take almost anything from around you home from timber off cuts, furniture, appliances etc that is not hazardous or a liquid.
Green waste skip bins:
Our green waste skips can take all green waste from your garden, leaves, small branches, and most any organic material (excluding food waste).
Hardfill / clean fill skip bins:
Our hardfill skips can take soil, dirt, bricks, blocks, concrete, sand and asphalt.
What cannot go into my skip bin?
We do not accept anything toxic or hazardous in our skip bins, i.e. asbestos, chemicals, paint, oil, car batteries, gas bottles, tyres, medical sharps, food waste etc. If these items are placed in the skip bin, we will be unable to collect it.
Can I fill my skip bin to the top?
All rubbish must be inside the skip bin with nothing sticking out over the top. This is to ensure the safe lifting and removal of our skip bins.
What are your payment options for skip bins?
We accept Visa or MasterCard, all skip bins are paid for via the website at the time of ordering or invoice send via email.
This charge will appear on your credit card statement as payment to waste control skips.
How long can I have my skip bin?
Our standard hire for skip bins is 7 days. Extra days will incur a charge of $5 per day.
What if I am not finished with the skip bin by pick-up day?

What do I do with hazardous chemicals?
You cannot put any hazardous waste into the skip bins. Contact your local council for more info.
What areas do you offer skip bin hire to?
Currently we service anywhere from Christchurch City to Hanmer Springs!
